Historical Gift Values

Maintain Historical Gift Values

The Maintain Historical Gift Values page allows you to maintain historical market value, FASB liability, and gift annuity reserve information for individual gifts or groups of gifts that have been stored previously. This page also lets you print a report of historical gift values and restore a group of historical gift values to their associated gift records.

1. Click Actions > Maintain Historical Gift Values in the Menu Bar.

2. Click the Historical Value Type (FASB, Market Value, or Reserve Value) you wish to list.

3. Enter selection criteria for the historical gift values you wish to list, and then click Search. There is help available on each field.

4. A Search Results list of gifts and their historical values will appear at the bottom of the screen. They are sorted by gift key.

Note: If a "No records to display" message appears in the Search Results list, your historical values table does not contain any values that match your selection criteria. If you entered only minimal selection criteria, your historical values table may be empty. This table must be populated with data before you can search on it. There are several ways to populate the historical values table with data.

5. Do one of the following:

To produce a report of all of the information currently displayed in the list, click .
Do the following, as needed:
- Click $image\closebox.gif$ on the report page to close the report.

To review or modify the information stored on a specific historical value, double-click its row in the list. Click to save a change. Click $image\closebox.gif$ to close the window.To add a Historic Gift Value record for a specific gift, click $image\add.gif$ , complete the information, and then click .

To delete an historical gift value, do one of the following:

Mark the checkbox(es) in the Search Results list for the record(s) you wish to delete, and then click .
Double-click the row for the record you want to delete, click , and then click Yes.

To delete all of the historical value information currently displayed in the list, click and then click Yes.

To copy to the FASB, Reserve, or Market Value fields of the associated gift records all of the historical value information currently displayed in the list , replacing the corresponding values currently in those gift records, click and then click Yes.

Click an arrow

to go to the first row, the next row, the previous row or the last record in the list.

6. Click to close the page.

Notes:

· Editing, adding, or deleting values in the Maintain Historical Gift Values window affects historical gift values only: Value, Value Date, Value Type, and the Gift Key of the gift to which these values are linked. It does not affect associated values: Org, Gift Type, Gift Date, or Account 1. These associated values are displayed for informational purposes only.
